Free Office Vending Machines — No Upfront Cost, Cashless-Ready, Australia Wide

A free office vending machine is a no-upfront-cost workplace amenity: no purchase price, no hire fee, no service charge and no contract. We supply, deliver, install and commission a cashless-ready machine, then provide managed service, restocking and support across Australia. Staff pay normal retail prices by contactless card, phone or wallet, and your office only provides about one metre of floor space and a standard power point.

Sound familiar?

  • Your office kitchen is a rotating roster of who forgot the milk
  • Facilities has no line item for snacks, so the answer is always 'not this year'
  • Vending quotes keep arriving with a monthly hire fee attached

What you get

  • $0 upfront cost — the machine, cashless-ready setup and the stock risk sit with the operator
  • Managed service with weekly or fortnightly refills and tailored healthier ranges
  • Contactless card, phone and wallet payments fitted as standard, Australia wide

Free office vending by state and territory

Why a free office vending machine beats buying one

An office is not a vending business. It has no interest in owning a refrigeration asset, insuring it, sourcing spare boards, chasing a fault at 4pm on a Friday or sending someone to the wholesaler with a trolley. Every one of those jobs is real work, and every one of them is ours under the free program.

The trade is simple and honest: we carry the machine, the stock, the insurance and the labour, and we earn from product sales at normal retail prices. Your office gets the amenity with none of the cost and none of the admin.

The pain points this actually fixes

Offices rarely call this a vending problem. It shows up as lost floor time, an unmanaged kitchen spend, or staff on a late shift with nowhere to buy a drink.

  • Staff leaving the floor for 15 to 25 minutes to buy a drink or a snack
  • Kitchen supplies bought on a company card with no control and no visibility
  • Late shifts, weekend work and early starts with nothing open nearby
  • Facilities budget carrying the cost of an amenity that could cost nothing
  • Meeting-room catering runs that eat an admin day every week
  • Nobody willing to own restocking, cleaning or the money tin

What the operator does at no cost to your office

  • Supply — the machine is ours, not a lease or a rent-to-own
  • Delivery — freight, trolleys, lift bookings and out-of-hours access
  • Installation — positioning, levelling, electrical test and tag, commissioning
  • Insurance — the machine and its stock are insured by us, certificate supplied
  • Maintenance — parts, labour, refrigeration and payment faults, all included
  • Refilling — telemetry-driven restocking so popular lines do not run out
  • Refunds — failed vends refunded by us, never handled by your reception desk
  • Removal — if it does not suit the site, we take it away at our cost

Managed service, healthier options and tailored product ranges

The free program is a fully managed service, not just a machine on the floor. We build a starting planogram with you, then refine it from sales data so popular lines stay stocked and slow lines are swapped out.

Tailored product ranges mean you can request healthier snack options, nut-free or allergy-aware selections, low-sugar drinks, or a mix that matches your office culture. Seasonal shifts and staff feedback are built into the restock cycle, so the range evolves instead of going stale.

  • Healthier snack, drink and fresh-food options available on request
  • Nut-free, gluten-aware and allergy-conscious selections can be prioritised
  • Planogram updated from telemetry and staff feedback, not a fixed calendar
  • Cashless-ready setup with contactless card, phone and wallet payments fitted as standard
  • Same managed service runs in every state and territory

Free machine versus buying your own

If you want the sales income, buy the machine — used machines start at $1,650 + GST and our ROI calculator shows the payback. If you want the amenity with zero admin and zero capital, take the free machine.

Office estates, business parks and multi-tenant buildings

Business parks and office estates are the strongest sites for the free program because head count is concentrated and food retail usually is not. A single machine in a shared lobby or end-of-trip area can serve several tenancies, and building management gets a certificate of currency, electrical test and tag evidence and a documented service schedule for their records.

Where a building has multiple tenants, we deal with the building manager directly so no single office manager is left coordinating access, insurance paperwork and delivery windows around their day job.

Do we qualify?

Office sizeUsual recommendation
Under 25 peopleAsk us — a combination machine may still work

60 – 150 peopleSeparate snack and drink machines
150+ people or multi-tenantMultiple machines, often including coffee or fresh food

Common objections, answered plainly

"Nothing is really free." The machine genuinely is. What funds it is product sales at ordinary retail prices, the same prices your staff pay at a servo or a cafe. If nobody buys anything, we lose and you lose nothing — that is the risk we take, not you.

"We do not want a supplier contract." There is no contract, no minimum term and no exit fee. If the machine does not suit the site, it goes back on the truck at our cost.

"Our building will not approve it." Buildings approve these constantly. What they want is a certificate of currency, test and tag evidence, machine dimensions and load, and a service schedule. We supply all four before delivery.

Frequently asked questions

Is a free office vending machine really $0?

Yes. No purchase price, no hire or rental fee, no service charge, no upfront cost and no contract. The only cost the office carries is the electricity, similar to a bar fridge.

Why would a vending operator supply a machine for free?

Because the operator earns from product sales. That only works if the machine is stocked, working and priced sensibly, so the operator has every reason to service it well.

Which states do you cover?

All of them: NSW, VIC, QLD, WA, SA, TAS, ACT and NT, including regional centres and outer business parks.

How long does installation take?

Most offices are assessed within days and installed within about a week of approval, subject to machine availability and building access.

Can we pick the products?

Yes. You choose the mix, including healthier ranges and allergy exclusions such as nut-free.

Are the machines cashless-ready with card, phone and wallet payments?

Yes. Free office machines are fitted with a cashless-ready payment system that accepts contactless cards, phones and wallets. Coin and note acceptance can also be added where the site wants it.

Can we request healthier snack and drink options?

Yes. We can tailor the product range to include healthier snack options, low-sugar drinks, fresh food and allergy-aware selections, then adjust the planogram as staff preferences change.

Can we choose what gets stocked, and change it later?

Yes. The initial planogram is built from your headcount and preferences, then adjusted from real sales data after the first few refills. Sugar-free, low-kJ and allergen-aware selections are common requests and cost nothing extra to accommodate.

Is there a lock-in contract or an exit fee?

No lock-in term and no exit fee on supplied machines. The agreement is a simple placement arrangement that either side can end with 30 days notice; we remove the machine at our cost and patch nothing up on your floor.

How does cashless payment work for staff?

A card reader accepts tap from credit and debit cards plus Apple Pay and Google Pay, with the transaction settled the same way any retail tap is. Readers are fitted as standard on new placements and can be retro-fitted to most existing machines from $550 installed.
