Remote monitoring

Smart Beverage Vending Machines

A smart beverage vending machine reports its own stock levels, sales and temperature over a mobile connection. Instead of a fixed refill roster, restocking is triggered by real data, faults raise an alert before anyone at the site notices, and the product mix is adjusted from what actually sells rather than guesswork.

What the machine tells us

The single most common complaint about any vending machine is that it is empty. Telemetry solves that structurally: we can see the machine running low from the office and send the refill before your team sees an out-of-stock light.

  • Stock remaining in every column, updated after each vend
  • Sales by product, hour, day and machine
  • Cabinet temperature, with an alert if refrigeration drifts
  • Door openings, jams, coin mech faults and reader errors
  • Cashless settlement and reconciliation data

Temperature monitoring matters in summer

A refrigerated machine that quietly loses its deck on a 38°C Friday afternoon is a lost weekend of trade and, worse, a machine full of warm drinks on Monday morning. Remote temperature alerting catches that within the hour rather than the next scheduled visit, which is a large part of why we fit telemetry to every drink machine we place.

The same data supports energy management. Sites that only trade Monday to Friday can be scheduled to run at reduced load overnight and on weekends without letting product temperature rise out of range.

What our service actually covers

Smart hardware only pays off when someone acts on the data — that is our job.

  • Demand-based refill scheduling instead of fixed calendars
  • Planogram changes driven by measured sell-through
  • Proactive service dispatch on fault alerts
  • Seasonal facings changes ahead of the hot months
  • Sales reporting shared with the site contact on request

Frequently asked questions

Does the machine need our Wi-Fi?

No. Machines use their own mobile data connection, so nothing touches your corporate network and IT does not need to be involved.

Can we see the sales data ourselves?

Yes, on request we share the sales report for your site. Owners of purchased or rented machines get direct access to their own telemetry.

What happens when refrigeration fails?

A temperature alert is raised automatically and we attend. Product affected by a refrigeration failure in a placed machine is our cost.

Is telemetry an extra charge?

On placed machines it is included. On purchased machines it depends on the model and provider, and we quote it clearly.

Machine sizes, specifications and PDF spec sheets

Every machine type we place free or sell outright, with real heights, widths, depths, weights, selection counts, capacity, power draw and temperature ranges. Measure your space against these figures before you order — 4 current models across 1 category. Most floor-standing machines are 1,830 mm high and need a single-phase 10 amp power point within two metres, plus about 100 mm clearance behind for airflow.

Every model has its own listing page with a large photo, full specs and a one-page PDF spec sheet you can hand to your electrician, builder or facilities manager — browse all 4 machine listings.

New machine supply, spare parts and national technician support come through our affiliation with Vending Specialists. We are affiliated with AVS, so every new machine quoted from this page is a current Australian-supplied model with local parts, manuals and technician support behind it.
