How the trial works
The trial exists because a spreadsheet cannot tell you whether your team will use a machine. Real transaction data over a few weeks can. We treat the trial exactly like a permanent placement, because anything less would not give you a fair read.
- Week 0 — site check, machine selected, planogram agreed with your staff
- Week 1 — delivery, install, first fill and cashless reader activation
- Weeks 2–6 — normal restocking, with telemetry recording every vend
- Review — we sit down with the sales report and decide together
- Outcome — keep the machine on permanent placement, resize it, or have it removed free
What the data tells you
By the end of a trial you will know your true transactions per day, your peak trading hours, which lines sell out and which never move, and whether one machine covers the site or a second unit is needed on another floor or shift. That is far more useful than a headcount estimate, and it is the same data we use to decide whether to leave a machine in place.
Trials run over summer are particularly informative for drink machines, because they capture the hot-weather peak rather than an average week.
What our service actually covers
Nothing about a trial is different from our permanent service — that is the point.
- Same machines, same refrigeration standard, same product range
- Same restocking frequency driven by live sales
- Same fault response and staff refund handling
- Full sales report shared with you, not kept internal
- Free removal if you decide against it
Frequently asked questions
How long does a free trial run?
Usually four to six weeks. That is long enough to see a settled sales pattern rather than the novelty spike in the first fortnight.
What if we decide not to keep the machine?
We collect it at our cost and that is the end of it. There is no removal fee, no restocking charge and no contract to exit.
Does a trial cost us anything at all?
Only the electricity the machine uses, which is roughly $1.50–$3.00 a week.
Can we trial a drink machine and a snack machine together?
Yes, and on many sites a combination machine is the better test because it shows whether food or drink is really driving the traffic.
